Social Commentary - Inequality and Homelessness

It looks like Bill De Blasio, the new mayor of New York, is the new national champion against inequality. Numbers in New York regarding inequality are staggering so if he can make something work there it makes sense to export it to other places. Very interesting stuff and happy to see a huge issue being taken on finally. I wish him the best of luck! Finding reasonably pricing housing in NY is next to impossible so he has his work cut out for him. This is a good follow up story to Invisible Child.

Speaking of which, wouldn't you know the singer Paul Simon along with a pediatrician named Irwin Redlener started a non profit group to profit health care to homeless kids via mobile medical clinics. It is amazing stuff that I learned about through the full page add they took out. It is great stuff and here is a copy of it if you missed it:
