Continuing with the Chinese theme today, it probably doesn’t surprise you to find that they are investing as much money as possible in the U.S. However, what is surprising to me here is the scope. They typically hire Americans or other subcontractors to do this kind of project. I am very surprised they are trying to do this one themselves, in a very high profile location in Downtown Los Angeles. In this very thorough article, they also look at some of the other projects they have invested in. Funny with all the spying and cyber espionage they do on us to have them buying up major pieces of the country legally and easily. Perhaps reminiscent of the Japanese buying spree in the 80’s?
